Goldsilk Bream, locally known as Kala Dandia, is a dark-hued reef fish with a richer, more full-bodied flavour compared to its lighter cousin Safaid Dandia. The firm white flesh pairs well with strong spice preparations — masala fry, spiced curry, and charcoal grilling.
